the transit retreat

OVERVIEW

​

This is an intensive 3 day retreat where participants will learn how to delineate the planetary cycles active in their chart for the next 12 months. Charts, pages of the ephemeris, a workbook and a calendar are provided to help participants map out the year ahead. Retreatants will then be guided in self-reflection to attune to what is coming, bringing greater awareness to what stirs within. They will set their intentions and aspirations for growth, wholeness, and the highest possible outcome for the spiritual well-being.

 

prerequisite

• The Transit Retreat is not for beginner astrology students.

• To register for the Transit Retreat, you will need to be comfortable reading a natal chart including being able to;

  • locate the horizon, midheaven, IC and ascendant.

  • recognise the planet and sign glyphs.

  • describe the symbolism and archetypes associated with each planet, to some extent.

  • list the activities associated with the houses, to some extent.

  • understand the five main aspects; conjunction, opposition, square, trine and sextile, to some extent.

  • having some knowledge of rulerships is helpful, but not essential.

• It is recommended that you attend several Astrology Cafe sessions and study independently before considering your preparedness for a weekend learning about your transits for the year ahead. ​

• Format: Friday evening 7-8.30pm, 9.30am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 3pm Sunday.

• Price: $300

• Included: lunch on Saturday and Sunday and refreshments, resources.

• What to bring: charts, note pad, pens of different colour, water bottle.
